The Assessment Process Workgroup will determine how to evaluate whether a health department has achieved accreditation status, as well as how health departments can appeal decisions. The process will involve self evaluation, on-site outside evaluators, and is being developed now. The group will also investigate IT systems to support and assist in the process.
